A man finding his way

I am a Man
who is Perfectly flawed yet seeking perfection
Constantly feeling that the difficulty of growth has rapid progression
The more I learn the more I find out I don’t know
Seeking wisdom daily and yet find myself to be prideful
See it as a must to provide for myself
Showing this pride when constantly refusing help
Feel obligated to take up responsibilities when left to the side
Fear to die and be remembered as inadequate

I am loving
One who tells a soft answer without thinking
Compassion comes easy to me
The action comes easy but hard for me to express through speech
Phileo comes easy but agape is a working progress
Infatuated with the idea of love intimately
Never pass up on a romantic comedy

I am perseverance
One who see trials as trails
A path of strength to walk down
Endurance learned young
As far as storms my childhood could have been named Katrina
I was broken down as a boy so God could build
The man I am today
I am my words
they are the reflection of me
through my poetry is the true sight of transparency
as you read it you see me
the simply complex
